An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Scrub Nurse to join a prestigious private surgical clinic in the heart of London's renowned medical district of Harley Street.
Working alongside internationally recognised Consultant Surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care across a wide range of cosmetic, plastic, reconstructive and dermatological procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected, CQC-registered day surgery facility that is committed to clinical excellence, innovation and outstanding patient outcomes.
The Role
As Senior Scrub Nurse, you will provide expert perioperative care while supporting the smooth running of the operating theatre. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical practice, whilst acting as a role model and mentor for junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for a broad range of cosmetic, plastic, reconstructive and dermatology procedures.
- Prepare operating theatres, equipment and instrumentation to ensure efficient surgical lists.
- Assist Consultants and theatre teams throughout surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, clinical governance and CQC standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Deliver outstanding patient care before, during and after surgery.
About You
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Significant theatre experience within Cosmetic Surgery, Plastic Surgery or Dermatology.
- Previous experience as a Senior Scrub Nurse or an experienced Scrub Nurse ready to take the next step.
- Excellent knowledge of aseptic technique and theatre protocols.
- Strong communication skills.
- Calm, organised and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest clinical standards.
